Student Profile: Marisa Laudadio

Marisa Laudadio is a senior Minnesota native who grew up in Walnut, Mississippi. She is a double major in political science and Communication with a double minor in Spanish and international studies. Marisa chose MSU because she had attended 4H events here all throughout high school, “So Mississippi State is someone where I had been growing and learning my whole life and it just made sense to keep learning and growing here.” During her time at MSU Marisa has served as president for the College of Arts and Sciences Ambassadors, secretary general for Model UN, an executive board member for PRSSA, and a part of programming staff for New Maroon Camp. She is also involved in the MS Model Security Council, Honors college, The Latino Student Association, and Undergraduate Women in Business. Marisa’s advice to incoming students is, “Mississippi State is the most diverse university in the SEC and there is a lot it can teach you outside the classroom with regards to interacting with people different from yourself, personal growth, and professional development.”
