Director of Development
Sara Frederic joined the College of Arts & Sciences in August 2016 as the Director of Development. She earned an Associate of Arts degree in broadcast communication from Meridian Community College in 2006 before continuing her higher education at Mississippi State University. While at MSU, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a concentration in public relations in 2008 and two master’s degrees, an MBA and a master’s of sport administration, in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
Upon graduation, she married her husband Stephen Frederic in May 2012. Stephen earned his bachelor’s degree in business information systems and is also back on campus working with desktop support services. The two have a 3-year-old little girl named Ollie, who is a diehard Bulldog and is just as excited as they both are to be in Starkville.

Nikki Robinson is originally from Hattiesburg, MS and graduated from Oak Grove High School in 2010. She is a 2014 graduate of Mississippi State University receiving a Bachelor of Science in educational psychology with an emphasis in counseling. During her last year of college, she worked in Gift Administration in the MSU Foundation as a student worker. Her desire to stay in Starkville led to her becoming the Data Management Assistant in Gift Administration in the MSU Foundation before moving into her current role in May 2015. During her college years she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority and was heavily involved with the MSU Student Association and other campus organizations.
Nikki recieved her Master of Science in Educational Leadership - Student Affairs and Higher Education at MSU in May 2020. She is currently serves the University on the MSU Young Alumni Council, she is the staff advisor for the T.K. Martin Student Ambassadors on campus, and is an active member of Junior Auxillary of Starkville. Nikki has been a MSU fan her entire life and loves working for her alma mater!
