Q: Why did you come to MSU?

A: MSU has been a part of my family for a long time. (My Pop coached football, my uncle played football, and my aunt played volleyball here at MSU.) I attended MSU not only because of my family ties, but it was the only place that felt like home. In all my visits to MSU, I felt important and as if I had been a student here for a while. Additionally, I recognized the opportunities MSU offered to excel academically, professionally, and personally including, but not limited to, the AFROTC program and Pre-Medicine curriculum.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about MSU?

A: My favorite thing about MSU is the family-like community between every person here. The people are what make every day a better one at MSU. Every day, I look forward to walking around campus because I either see someone I know, and I have the opportunity to meet someone new.

Q: What do you want to do after graduation and how has being at MSU helped in that endeavor?

A: After graduation, I will be commissioning into the Air Force as a 2nd Lt and attending medical school. Mississippi State University has provided countless opportunities for me to build my confidence, discipline, and interpersonal skills. Mississippi State University had helped me step out of my comfort zone and try new things. I feel confident that I will be able to tackle any challenge post-graduation thanks to the skills MSU has taught me through both experience and people.
