Q: Why did you come to MSU?

A: My grandfather, my dad and aunt went to MSU, so it was always on my radar, but when I came to tour it just felt so welcoming, it had almost a hometown feel. I knew it was a great school in a great town, so it was an easy decision!

Q: What’s your favorite thing about MSU?

A: My favorite thing are the traditions MSU has had and upheld for years, including my favorite- the cowbell. It is so fulfilling to be able to complete traditions just like my family and other alumni did before me.

Q: What do you want to do after graduation and how has being at MSU helped in that endeavor?  

A: will be attending Optometry school after graduation, and one of the major reasons for this is the connections I made through MSU. The health professions advisors are so helpful and really take you to the next level when it comes to being an applicant for any professional school. Clubs I was a part of also created connections that allowed me to be competitive when applying, as well as grow my interest for the field. I genuinely believe my future career plans would not be what they are today without MSU.
