George Crook

George Crook was a senior interdisciplinary-studies major with an emphasis in sports studies and communication from Aiken, South Carolina.  George chose MSU because “The entire city of Starkville, especially the campus of MSU, really does feel like a second family to me.” During his time at MSU George served as a College of Arts and Sciences Ambassadors, and he currently works for the MSU athletic department. George said his biggest influencer in college was Matt Meyer, the Assistant Director of Marketing for MSU Athletics. George describes MSU as “family” and his advice to incoming students is “to have a very open mind… Never limit yourself to just one thing. MSU does a phenomenal job at creating such a diverse ecosystem that you will never find yourself bored or in a slump.”
