Bio:

Diana Outlaw is an Associate Professor of Biological Sciences at Mississippi State University, where she has taught ornithology for 15 years. Her work centers on birds and the parasites they carry, with a special focus on avian malaria and how it affects species from songbirds to waterfowl. She has published extensively on bird evolution, migration, and biodiversity, and brings her passion for birds into both her research and her teaching.
