Dyskolos (or Old Cantakerous)

Join us for “Dyskolos,” or “Old Cantankerous,” a Greek comedy by classical playwright Menander, directed by honors faculty member Dr. Donna L. Clevinger. The production, part of Honors College Classical Week 2026, will be performed at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, and Wednesday, Sept. 23, in Bettersworth Auditorium in Lee Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. “Dyskolos” is an ancient Greek comedy that follows the interactions and complications surrounding a notoriously difficult, ill-tempered old man.
