Being able to have multiple emphases allowed me to learn more about different areas that I have a passion for.

Teanna is currently earning her Master of Instructional Systems and Workforce Development.

I chose BSIS as my major because I wanted to do so much, and there was not a specific major for all the things that I love to do, such as helping others and using my love for technology and put it in one major. This major choice has helped me because I was able to learn about different areas at one time while also gaining a degree. The education I received at MSU was one of the best opportunities that I have done. "Knowledge is Power." Being able to have multiple emphases allowed me to learn more about different areas that I have a passion for, such as helping children learn more and teaching them that you can enjoy learning new things. Being able to know more than just one field, I can help children or anyone who is willing to learn new information/things and new ways to complete difficult tasks in a fun way.
