Mississippi State University’s College of Arts and Sciences is celebrating the exceptional achievements of its graduate students, recognizing them for their academic excellence, research contributions and leadership within the university and beyond.

“Curiosity is the foundation for every scientist’s motivation to understand complex problems,” said Chandler Woo, a senior chemistry major at Mississippi State. “Exploring the uncharted and finding answers to a problem that has not been successfully solved is what excites me about research in general.”

Mississippi State Professor of Geography and Geographic Information Systems Shrinidhi Ambinakudige is a new fellow of the Mississippi Academy of Sciences for his significant contributions to geographical science.
