Families in the Starkville community can embark on a fun, educational journey without ever leaving town, thanks to an exciting new initiative led by Mississippi State Associate Professor Kelly Moser—the Bulldog Explorers Program.

As a faculty member in MSU’s Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Jacob Tschume savors the moments his students begin understanding daunting formulas and abstract concepts. “Helping students—being able to see their light bulb click—is what I love most,” he said.

Mississippi State University sophomore Isabelle Stewart is the fourth annual recipient of the FOX Weather Scholarship, a long-term partnership between the weather mogul and MSU that supports students pursuing careers in meteorology.
