Breelyn is a senior from Brandon, MS. She is majoring in anthropology with a concentration in biological anthropology and Pre-PA and plans to graduate May 2023.

Q: Why did you come to MSU?

A: I chose to come to Mississippi State because the first moment I stepped foot on this campus, I felt like I chose to be here and MSU chose me right back. Mississippi State felt like my home away from home and a place that I could grow and become the best version of myself.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about MSU?

A: My favorite thing about Mississippi State is that everyone who have crossed paths with during my four years here, whether that be teachers, students, or advisors, have poured into me and encouraged me to do my very best. I love that I have been pushed out of my comfort zone and built up to reach my goals.

Q: What do you want to do after graduation and how has being at MSU helped in that endeavor?

A: I will be applying to PA school. Mississippi State has prepared me to become a successful student. My advisors and teachers have led me down a path so that I would one day be able to succeed in my future and always remember my dreams. I feel that Mississippi State has taught me the importance of the moment and to not let those go unoticed.
