Joining a highly select group of role models and mentors at Mississippi State, College of Arts and Sciences faculty members Kelly Moser and Holli Seitz are recipients of the 2025 John Grisham Master Teacher Award––the most prestigious teaching honor awarded at MSU.

Lara Dodds, professor and head of Mississippi State's Department of English, highlights the often-overlooked literary contributions of women in the early modern period in the new book “Early Modern Women’s Writing and the Future of Literary History.”

Wolf joins MSU from the City University of New York, where he held dual appointments as a professor of mathematics at the City College of New York (CCNY) and at the CUNY Graduate Center. Most recently, he led CUNY’s doctoral program in mathematics as executive officer, overseeing more than 100 faculty members and approximately 80 Ph.D. students. He previously chaired CCNY’s Department of Mathematics for five years and served as graduate advisor for three years.
