Student Profile: Emily Tingle
Emily Tingle is a senior political science and sociology major from Vicksburg, Mississippi. Emily said she chose MSU “because I loved the faculty and felt that I would have more positive experience here due to teachers’ willingness to invest in students.” During her time at MSU Emily has served as, Campus Wide Senator for Student Association, a College of Arts and Sciences Ambassador, and Treasurer of College Democrats. She has also been involved in the Stennis Montgomery Association, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. Emily’s favorite experience at MSU was serving as freshman maid for the 2016 homecoming court, and her advice to an incoming student is “Always try something new because you never know what you may like.”
