Student Profile: Blake Williams

Blake Williams is a senior communication major with an emphasis in public relations and journalism from Athens, Alabama. Blake chose MSU “because of the wonderful opportunities I have to grow professionally and personally as a communication major. During his time at MSU, Blake has been a College of Arts and Sciences Ambassador, Student Athletic Photographer for MSU Athletics, Director of Social Media for the Mississippi State University Integrated Media Agency and a member of Public Relations Student Society of America. Blakes favorite experiences at MSU have involved networking with other students and faculty, volunteering, and attending various MSU sporting events.  Blake describes MSU as “resourceful” and his advice to incoming or prospective students is to “reach out to your peers for help, attend as many athletics events as you can, and go to class.”
