Bio:
Dr. Hobson is a historian of 20th and 21st century international affairs who specializes in the history of ideas, the history of emotions, and in U.S. and Middle East history. His book “Chains of Vengeance: The United States, the Middle East, and the Wars of Terrorism, 1967-2021” examines the rise of vengeance in U.S.-Middle East relations in the latter decades of the twentieth century and the consequences of this development for the twenty-first century. He is available for commentary and analysis on these and related topics.
