Physics Colloquium

Physics Colloquium

What's going on in quantum computing these days? The first half of the talk is a bird’s eye view of current quantum computing research from the perspective of a graduate student. The goal is to survey popular ideas circulating in the field at a high level but with enough care to convey (seemingly) important outstanding problems. In the second half, the speaker discusses some of his own research in a bit more detail to convey different possible approaches to contributing to a quantum computing research project. The speaker is Nic Ezzel, Department of Physics, University of Southern California (Passcode: HybCollo22).
