"Institute for the Humanities 2023 Fellows Presentations"
The Mississippi State University College of Arts and Sciences Institute for the Humanities will be hosting their 2023 Annual Fellows Presentations Tuesday, May 2nd at noon in Allen Hall 210.
The panel will feature short research presentations by IH’s three fellows to observe what they have been working on this past year. After the presentation the floor will be open for questions and conversation.
The fellows presenting this year include Dr. Sol Perez, associate professor in the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures, presenting, “Suspending Latin American Hegemonic Narratives,” Dr. Ted Atkinson, associate professor in the Department of English, presenting, “Monumental Designs: Infrastructure and the Culture of the Tennessee Valley Authority,” and Dr. Anne E. Marshall, associate professor in the Department of History, presenting “Cassius Marcellus Clay and Antislavery America.”
