Tracy Britt

Academic Coordinator

Tracy joined the College of Arts & Sciences in July 2009 as Academic Coordinator. She began her career at Mississippi State University in the Registrar's Office in 1994, but has spent most of her time at MSU in the Political Science and Public Administration Department. She handled the personnel and financial aspects of her department, but her greatest joy was working with students. She worked closely with the undergraduate coordinator helping students with class schedules, 75 hour checksheets and any problems they encountered along the way. Tracy also served as Assistant Director for Mississippi Model Security Council, through the Political Science and Public Administration Department. MMSC is host to approximately 300 Mississippi high school students each spring who engage in an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about international relations.

Tracy is a life-long resident of the Maben/Mathiston area. She is married to high school sweetheart, Chris Britt, and they have two daughters, Haley and Hannah. Tracy enjoys spending time with her family, scrapbooking, and shopping.
